A cyanotic David by Michelangelo, a popular icon of art all over the world, in a state of tissue ischemia caused by the lack of "art contribution", due to the unexpected period of closure that deprived all the arts, including cinema , of the public, its necessary blood flow.
The David, a sign of rebirth, invites you to "recharge yourself with Art", to regenerate yourself with new energies with the restorative transfusion that restores its original marble color. A panacea for amazement, a dose of beauty and love for art, a pillar of our history, as the column that supports the work suggests.
The story of David, a shepherd, a simple man who, armed only with a sling, kills Goliath the fearsome giant, is one of the most famous episodes in the Bible. Symbol of faith, intelligence and courage that triumph over brutal violence. A metaphorical parallelism of clear interpretation, a sign of hope in this particular historical moment: man against the mammoth invisible enemy will triumph, in a "New Renaissance" also thanks to the power of Art.

Castiglione Cinema, organized by the Entertainment Authority and the Municipality of Castiglione del Lago, will take place on 17, 18 and 19 June in Castiglione del Lago and Perugia.

The appointments with the protagonists of the world of cinema and culture will be held according to the program of meetings, bookable for free on the website www.castiglionecinema.com.
During Castiglione Cinema, 3 installations, part of the “ARTS WANT TO REBORN” exhibition, curated by Stefania Vichi, Massimiliano Donnari aka Mamo and Alessandro Marrone, will be exhibited in the city center of Castiglione from 17 to 20 June.

The three art installations are exhibited to the public in the streets of the historic center of the city of Castiglione del Lago, from 17 to 20 June in:
-Piazza Gramsci with the installation "Art Wants To Reborn" (Stefania Vichi)
-Via del Forte, square of the Municipal Offices with the installation "Cultural Impact" by Alessandro Marrone
-Via Vittorio Emanuele, the square in front of the building where Monte dei Paschi di Siena is located, with the "up grade" installation by Massimiliano Donnari, aka Mamo.
The three art installations are exhibited to the public in the streets of the historic center of the city of Castiglione del Lago, from 17 to 20 June.
