"RENAISSANCE (feat. Baroque). LOADING ART" is the title of the exhibition.
A demanding exhibition for such a historical moment, an act of faith and hope towards those passionate disciplines such as the arts, which clinging willingly to a way of life, declare to the world that they want to survive. The days of physical confinement made us aware that nothing will be the same. It is important to understand that after the great epidemics, all rebirths are renewals, formal, aesthetic, but above all ethical, moral and life rules. Such "renaissance" have often dictated the guidelines for even the highest innovations in visual expression. Rebirths of something that is not absolutely necessary for survival, like art, but for this very reason it is extremely important to survive. It is the creation of art, understood as a common good, to be preserved and kept alive.
The title of the exhibition, therefore, brings together two historical periods: the Renaissance understood as the rediscovery of past periods, to draw new light in the contemporary; and the Baroque, which is essentially a hymn to amazement. The two concepts can be well spent in the contemporary trying to rediscover art, especially after the dark period we have gone through. It is an invitation to be amazed, to "load up with art", grasping the message that is inherent in the exhibition: art is an essential common good not only to be preserved, but also in which to invest, thus continuing the cultural tradition that has distinguished Italy over the centuries, a tradition through which we all continue to nourish ourselves and not only with our eyes.
To communicate this underlying message, the works on display play and interact directly with the visitor. These are the series: Lex Italica, Pantheon, Dress Art, Loading Art, and finally the installation of 3 meters Bonfire of the Vanities.
