VOLCANO:

he is the god of earthly fire, manifesting in volcanoes, and as protector of those human arts which find their basis and element in fire (metallurgy). He was the blacksmith who forged the sacred armor of the gods and had the forge with the forge inside Etna. Son of Jupiter and Juno and husband of Venus. In pictorial and sculptural representations he is represented bearded, lame, with anvil, hammer, pincers, pileus; as usual dressed in a simple tunic that leaves the right shoulder bare.
The work recalls the magma of the Etna volcano which houses the forge of the God, which breaks the earth's crust as you pass.
